Why We Built This Site
Idaho makes many records available, yet no single search gives a complete Teton County history. The Teton County Sheriff's Office keeps reports it creates, the clerk at 150 Courthouse Drive holds Magistrate Division and District Court files, and Idaho BCI maintains the fingerprint-supported state repository. Because Teton County has no jail, current booking and custody records are created by Madison County Jail. We bring these separate routes together and explain the limits of iCourt, BCI, correctional records, and the Idaho Central Sex Offender Registry.
What You Will Find Here
- Agency contacts: how to reach the Teton clerk, Sheriff's Office, Madison County Jail, and Idaho systems
- Record guides: how to search and interpret a Teton County court case
- Official check steps: how Idaho BCI name-based and fingerprint-based requests differ
- Record-relief guidance: how Idaho distinguishes qualifying BCI expungement from adult court-record shielding
What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site, not part of an Idaho court, law-enforcement office, or state agency. Our role has firm limits:
- We cannot run an official background check or pull a criminal record for anyone
- We cannot issue a certified case document, criminal history, or other official record
- We cannot submit a public-record request or shielding or expungement petition for you
- We cannot interpret a charge or offer advice about a particular case
- We cannot promise that an agency's hours, fees, address, or procedure has not changed
An official copy must come from its custodian, such as the sheriff, Teton County clerk, Madison County Jail, or Idaho BCI.
Search Partners
Outside providers power some search boxes shown here and control their own services, prices, and results. A paid signup reached through one of those tools may produce a referral fee that supports this site. We neither set a partner's charges nor decide which records its service returns.
