Arrest Records in Teton County
A Teton County arrest can create records in several offices. The arresting deputy or trooper writes the source report. Madison County Jail creates intake, fingerprint, photograph, custody, bond, and release data. Idaho BCI may receive the fingerprint event, while the Teton County clerk opens a court file only after a charge is filed. Those records describe different stages and can use different charge terms.
Teton County has no jail and no verified public booking blotter. The sheriff's live page says all Teton inmates have been housed at Madison County Jail since January 1, 2026. Madison Holds Teton County Detainees

Madison staff book, fingerprint, photograph, house, and release people delivered by Teton agencies. Mail, visits, calls, and deposits follow Madison rules, not a nonexistent Teton jail policy.

Request Teton County Arrest Reports
The TCSO public information request channel is the route for deputy-created reports. Give the incident number if known, date, place, involved name, and exact record type. Ask separately for 911 audio, CAD, body-camera footage, or media. Those are not always part of a paper report.
Idaho law permits redaction of active investigations, juvenile data, protected victims, witnesses, medical facts, and private identifiers. Large media requests can create review labor. ISP holds trooper reports, so TCSO cannot fill an ISP request.

The agency report can show the incident number, date, location, officer, alleged statute, probable-cause account, warrant basis, evidence, citation, and transport destination. Madison's intake file adds booking details, first charge label, bond or hold, facility, status, and release. Public copies can omit protected people and private facts.

How Teton Arrest Records Travel
TCSO or another agency starts the report. Madison books the detainee. If a fingerprint arrest card is sent, BCI can add the event to its repository. The prosecutor chooses the court charges, and the clerk records the disposition.

An event without a submitted print card may remain local but not appear at BCI. A disposition can also arrive late. BCI's mailed or in-person request is not an instant public name portal. Idaho's $20 name-based check searches the state repository. Without a timely signed waiver, older arrests lacking a disposition face limits on release to a noncriminal-justice requester.
For review of one's own record, compare BCI with iCourt and the source files. Report a missing or wrong disposition through the custodian's correction path. The jail cannot change the court judgment, and the clerk cannot rewrite the arresting officer's narrative.
Which Teton Agency Made the Arrest
The incident location does not by itself identify the report custodian. TCSO is the primary local law-enforcement agency, but Idaho State Police may handle a highway stop or state investigation. A federal agency holds its own investigative record. For a call in Driggs, Victor, or Tetonia, read the citation or report heading before filing a request.
Ask for the agency case number when possible. It is a stronger key than a common name and helps distinguish the source report from Madison's booking number and Teton County's court case number. Each number belongs to a different file.
If the first office says it did not create the report, ask which agency responded or transported the person. Do not assume the city hall, county clerk, or receiving jail owns the officer's narrative merely because each may hold another record from the same event.
Recent Teton County Bookings
Teton County publishes no verified daily arrest log, mugshot gallery, or local roster. A fresh arrest may not yet appear in iCourt. Arrest Records vs Conviction Records
An arrest is an accusation and custody event. A conviction requires a guilty plea or finding and appears in a court judgment. A prosecutor may decline, amend, or dismiss a count. None of those later acts deletes the source report by itself.

Match the court case by name, date, and arrest context rather than name alone. Similar names can produce the wrong file, and a new arrest may precede case entry.

Dismissed Teton County Arrests
A dismissal in iCourt does not automatically delete a TCSO report, Madison booking entry, or BCI event. Idaho has narrow remedies, not a general adult-conviction expungement rule. Qualifying fingerprint records may be expunged under Idaho Code §67-3004(10), while some adult court records may be shielded under §67-3014.
Review the signed disposition. Compare a BCI self-record with the local file, and use BCI's correction route if its record is wrong. Ask the clerk for a certified order when the public docket uses a short result code. After any relief is granted, check both iCourt visibility and the BCI history because the court, repository, sheriff, and jail retain separate records. Juvenile arrest data is generally confidential.
